Not too sweet and not too spicy. These little red peppers, the size of cherry tomatoes, are pickled with the Peri Peri (Piri Piri) spice, native to Africa by way of Portugal and Barbados. Peri-Peri is a spice in the brine that is the key contributor to the spicy sweet flavor of our peppers.
